Celebrate the start of 2008 operations on the East Broad Top Railroad with Friends of the East Broad Top. Join our volunteers for guided tours inside and around the railroad’s unique Rockhill Furnace shop and yard complex. Dating from the late nineteenth century with significant early twentieth-century additions, the EBT railroad shop is widely recognized as one of the premier historic industrial sites in North America. Several times each day of this special weekend FEBT members will host two different tours.

Yard Walking Tours

Guided walking tour around the exterior of the shop buildings and the EBT’s Rockhill Furnace yard; meet FEBT restoration volunteers at work. FREE

But Wait—There’s More!

Each day, at 11 am, 1 pm, and 3 pm, the East Broad Top Railroad plans to operate steam-powered trains. Ticket prices for standard seats are $12.00* for adults and $8.00 for children.
