Rockhill Furnace Work Session: June 24-25, 2006
The seventh Rockhill work session of 2006 was held Saturday and Sunday, June 24-25, 2006.
Those participating included Lee Rainey, Charles Wootton, William Adams, Tim Diehl, Reggie Arford, Jane Rutledge, Richard Rutledge, Jim Bacon, and Dave Phillips.
boiler house
Removing debris and cleaning up near the tunnel between the Foundry and the Coal Bin.
In the Paint Shop, an FEBT volunteer paints one of the Boiler House window sashes.
Work on the Boiler House Coal Bin continued. Debris was removed from around the west and north side and the work was done on the brick footing of the west wall of the coal bin.
Turntable Lead
The track crew uses the FEBT tie inserter on
the Turntable lead track.
A large crew used the new FEBT tie inserter to place ties under the track leading from the Turntable to the Coal Docks.
