An Invitation to Assist
The Friends of the East Broad Top, Inc. needs your help to continue our preservation and restoration efforts. The East Broad Top Railroad is a unique treasure. Quite rightly, this priceless historic resource, located in Huntingdon County, Pennsylvania, has been designated a U. S. National Historic Landmark.
Your membership in the FEBT gives you the opportunity to assist in the preservation and restoration of this historic site. Your membership dues help fund the many programs that the FEBT offers, including restoration activities, the museum and collections acquisition, our efforts to document the operation of the railroad, its history and its buildings, our outreach programs designed to educate the public about the history and importance of the EBT and our continuing efforts to encourage dialog within the community of government, industry, public, and private groups interested in protecting, preserving, and restoring the East Broad Top Railroad.
As an FEBT member, you also have the opportunity to come and help out in our preservation efforts. Being a volunteer has many advantages, from knowing that you are helping to preserve a priceless piece of American history, to getting the opportunity to go places and do things that the ordinary EBT visitor does not get.
We welcome your assistance in our efforts and invite you to become a member by filling in and sending the downloadable FEBT Membership Application and mail it to the address on the application, along with the appropriate dues.
